Ruth Alexander Weddings was founded in 2011 by the talented Ruth Weldon who had an ambition to create visions that reflected her style and passion for producing spectacular and bespoke weddings both in her home country, the UK and her beloved haven of Ibiza.
After visiting Ibiza in 2002 and returning every year after being captivated by it’s soul and authenticity, it was clear to Ruth that this beautiful and majestic place would be the perfect canvas for expanding her dreams and creating her luxury and stylish weddings abroad. With it’s beautiful hillsides, stunning sunsets, sea backdrops, and relaxed boho vibe, each wedding she creates is fed by the soul and magic of the White Isle. Ibiza is forever the idyllic scene for her beach bohemian visions, rustic garden wedding ideas and laid back poolside parties on balmy summer evenings.
Over time Ruth Alexander Weddings expanded with local knowledge and expertise into a full, flexible and creative, planning and management service, delivering weddings throughout the UK, Ibiza and prospectively in Formentera for those who wish, ultimately taking joy in working in places of such beauty and sentimental value to not only herself but to her clients.
Ultimately, the main goal is to ensure that our couples have the day they have always dreamed of, in their dream location. We aim to build connections with places through stunning and sophisticated concepts and valuable experiences, to leave beautiful, lasting memories in our couples’ minds and hearts that they can treasure forever. This requires that we get to know the client, their tastes and personalities from the very beginning, in order to make their personal day the most authentic and unique that it can be to them. With regular catch ups and updates, (usually over coffee or a cocktail), we make sure that standards are always met to provide a seamless service and comfortable journey that is as relaxed and constructive as possible throughout each stage of the planning process and celebration.
We take pride in having the resources and contacts needed to create the best solution for our clients for their big day. With a vast knowledge of both London and Ibiza, combined with our industry expertise and strong connection with local and valuable creative suppliers in the business, we are as pleased to be able to create unique and stunning weddings in the UK as we are in Ibiza.
Unless we are getting hands on setting up an event, we are having meetings with our prospective newly weds, showing them potential venues or planning and discussing ideas for their wedding.
