A seemingly fitting quote for fun loving couple Steph and Brendan, and one that sums up perfectly their wedding celebrations - expressing their enthusiasm for love, life, marriage and partying! It’s certainly not every day that you get to celebrate your love with friends and family in one of the most stunning parts of the world, but better still with the iconic view of Es Vedra as your backdrop. For Steph and Brendan this was an absolute Ibizan dream come true.
It was a modern and minimalistic ceremony with subtle botanical touches for a cool, Ibiza vibe that echoed the contemporary feel of the luxury villa. The stunning white archways framed the scenic view in front of guests, as the bride-to-be walked down the aisle.
The dinner reception was a laid-back affair, with an organic and authentic table setting filled with beautiful rustic, green tones inspired by the natural, surroundings. The greenery ran throughout the entire decor, ranging from the flowers to the glassware on the tables. We teamed up with the amazing 'Velvet Circus’ styling team and Ibiza florists ‘Flowers Ibiza’ to create a stylish and relaxed banquet-style dinner that integrated the elements of the outdoors and reflected Steph and Brendan’s personality. The long tables stretched out towards the majestic Mediterranean sea-scape in beautiful Cala Carbo, drawing the eye directly to the breathtaking scenery. The intention was to complement rather than distract from the view and capture the flavour of the White Isle.
Not ones to follow tradition, Steph and Brendan opted for an alternative option to the slightly more traditional wedding cake. We partnered with ‘La Grande Bouffe Ibiza’ who created the biggest and most amazing Eton mess you have ever seen! Unfortunately, much to Steph and Brendan’s pleasure, this was later destroyed by them as part of their cake cutting spectacle as newly weds! As well as the catering service, ‘La Grande Bouffe’ provided tasty kebab stations for the guests, later on in the evening, and the ‘Eastern Standard’ Soho House classic cocktail was served at the bar - this too was a ‘smash’ hit!
In essence of Steph and Brendan’s adventurous attitude and lust for life, the rustic dinner reception was followed by a disco-glam, fun-fuelled evening party with neon lighting, a playful fancy dress corner for the instagram lovers, exotic Ibiza dancers and music from top DJs Tom Grimes and Nell Shakespeare. They were also accompanied by a talented vocalist and funky saxophone player. Guests embraced the evening putting on chic costume accessories and dancing under a sea of giant disco balls that sparkled into the night, under the grand archways of the stunning white Ibizan villa. We created a true Ibizan style party atmosphere with a hint of Saturday Night Fever in the air!
The beautifully relaxed bride and groom shone in the warm, low sunlight as the sun set behind Es Vedra, leaving eventually only the moon, flickering candlelight, fairy lights and disco balls lighting up the villa as they too, danced into the night as husband and wife to the sweet sound of the Saxophone!
